INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL NO. 2 HV SUPPLY STACK SUB-ASSEMBLY

CAUTION:

Be sure to wear insulated gloves and protective goggles.

(a) Install the No. 2 HV supply stack sub-assembly with the 4 nuts.

Torque:

7.5 N·m {76 kgf·cm, 66 in·lbf}

(b) Engage the claw.

(c) Engage the clamp.

(d) Install the nut to connect the earth terminal.

Torque:

7.5 N·m {76 kgf·cm, 66 in·lbf}

2. INSTALL NO. 1 HV SUPPLY STACK SUB-ASSEMBLY

CAUTION:

Be sure to wear insulated gloves and protective goggles.

(a) Install the No. 1 HV supply stack sub-assembly with the 4 nuts.

Torque:

7.5 N·m {76 kgf·cm, 66 in·lbf}

(b) Engage the claw.

(c) Connect the connector.

NOTICE:

Make sure that the connector is connected securely.

(d) Connect the connector.

NOTICE:

Make sure that the connector is connected securely.

3. INSTALL BATTERY ECU ASSEMBLY

4. INSTALL NO. 1 HV BATTERY INTAKE DUCT LH

CAUTION:

Be sure to wear insulated gloves and protective goggles.

(a) Install the No. 1 hybrid battery intake duct LH to the HV battery with the clip.

(b) Engage the claw of hybrid battery thermistor (sensor portion) to connect the No. 1 hybrid battery intake duct LH.

5. INSTALL NO. 2 HYBRID BATTERY SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY

CAUTION:

Be sure to wear insulated gloves and protective goggles.

(a) Install the No. 2 hybrid battery shield sub-assembly to the HV battery with the bolt and 3 nuts.

Torque:

7.5 N·m {76 kgf·cm, 66 in·lbf}

6. INSTALL HYBRID BATTERY TERMINAL BLOCK

7. INSTALL HV BATTERY JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY

8. INSTALL NO. 1 HV BATTERY HOSE

9. INSTALL UPPER HV BATTERY COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
