Lexus ES: Touch Pad Memory Module Malfunction (B155B)
DESCRIPTION
This DTC is stored if the remote touch (remote operation controller assembly) detects a malfunction in itself, such as internal hardware failure or remote touch screen memory module malfunction.

PROCEDURE
| 1. | CHECK DTC |
(a) Clear the DTCs.
Body Electrical > Navigation System > Clear DTCs(b) Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.
Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble CodesOK:
No DTCs are output.

(b) Operate the remote touch screen laterally and check that the remote touch screen generates vibration feedback.
NOTICE:
Since the remote touch screen may recognize a pinch in/out or flick operation if operated with 2 fingers, always use 1 finger to operate the remote touch screen in self-diagnostic mode.
HINT:
When operating at an excessively low temperature, vibration feedback may be difficult to feel.

| 4. | CHECK DTC |
(a) Clear the DTCs.
Body Electrical > Navigation System > Clear DTCs(b) Turn the engine switch off.
(c) Turn the engine switch on (ACC) and wait for 5 seconds.
(d) Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.
Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble CodesOK:
No DTCs are output.
