REPAIR

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

HINT:

  • Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
  • The following procedure is for the LH side.
  • If the installation area of the headlight assembly is damaged, use a supply retainer for a low-cost repair.
  • Ensure that the headlight assembly is not damaged.

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL UPPER HEADLIGHT PROTECTOR RETAINER (for TMC Made)

2. INSTALL LOWER HEADLIGHT PROTECTOR RETAINER (for TMC Made)

3. INSTALL LOWER NO. 2 HEADLIGHT PROTECTOR RETAINER (for TMC Made)

DISASSEMBLY PROCEDURE 1. REMOVE SHIFT POSITION INDICATOR (a) Disengage the 2 clamps to disconnect the wire harness. (b) Remove the 2 screws. (c) Disengage the claw and guide and remove the shift position indicator from the rear upper console panel sub-assembly.

 Dtc Check / Clear

DTC CHECK / CLEAR CHECK DTC (a) Check the DTCs. (1) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3. (2) Turn the engine switch on (IG). (3) Turn the Techstream on. (4) Read the DTCs following the prompts on the Techstream screen. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Four Wheel Drive / Trouble Codes. Chassis >
