Lexus ES: Yaw Rate Sensor Circuit Intermittent (C00631F,C006396,C05201F)

DESCRIPTION

The airbag ECU assembly has a built-in yaw rate and acceleration sensor and detects the vehicle condition.

These DTCs are stored when the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) receives a malfunction signal from the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag ECU assembly).

When the voltage at terminal +BS is between 9.6 and 16.5 V, data malfunction signal is received from the yaw rate sensor (airbag ECU assembly) for 1 second or more.

With the +BS terminal voltage between 9.6 and 16.5 V, a yaw rate sensor internal malfunction signal is received from the yaw rate sensor (airbag ECU assembly).

Multi-axis Acceleration Sensor Module "A" Circuit Intermittent

When the voltage at terminal +BS is between 9.6 and 16.5 V, data malfunction signal is received from the acceleration sensor (airbag ECU assembly) for 10 seconds or more.

NOTICE:

After replacing or reinstalling the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag ECU assembly), perform acceleration sensor zero point calibration and store system information memorization after performing "Reset Memory".
