DESCRIPTION
This DTC is stored when the rear television camera assembly judges that it has an internal CAN malfunction.

PROCEDURE
(a) Clear the DTCs.
Chassis > Rear Camera > Clear DTCs
(b) Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.
Chassis > Rear Camera > Trouble Codes
HINT:

If the DTC is not output again when rechecking for DTCs, it may have been stored due to a temporary CAN malfunction.

If DTC U1000 is stored frequently but is not output when rechecking for DTCs, attempt to reproduce the conditions when the malfunction occurred.

DESCRIPTION The outer mirror switch assembly sends the mirror adjust switch signals to the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU). The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) then sends the received mirror adjust switch signals to each outer mirror control ECU assembly via CAN communication.
