INSPECTION

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

CAUTION:

Be careful so that fingers and clothing do not get caught in the moving parts when performing this test.

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Check the HI operation.

(1) Connect a positive (+) lead from the auxiliary battery to terminal 4 (+B) and a negative (-) lead to terminal 1 (GND) and 3 (2S), and check that the windshield wiper motor assembly operates.

OK:

Windshield wiper motor assembly operates at high speed (HI).

If the result is not as specified, replace the windshield wiper motor assembly.
