Lexus ES: Yaw Rate Sensor Circuit Voltage Out of Range (C00631C)

DESCRIPTION

The airbag ECU assembly has a built-in yaw rate and acceleration sensor and detects the vehicle condition.

The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) calibrates the sensitivity of the yaw rate sensor (airbag ECU assembly) based on signals from the steering angle sensor and speed sensors.

The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) detects an abnormal yaw rate sensor (airbag ECU assembly) sensitivity during calculation.

After replacing or reinstalling the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag ECU assembly), perform acceleration sensor zero point calibration and store system information memorization after performing "Reset Memory".
